Gordon has over 45 years of professional playing experience with over 25 of
those years as a band leader. At the age of eight years old Gordon began his
musical journey with the trumpet. With years of practice and experience his
trumpet has taken him from playing with small groups while acquiring his music
education degree which lead to teaching in St. Louis area schools, to the far
east in the Air Force Band during Vietnam, to playing with top nationally
named acts in St. Louis, and finally to booking his own Entertainment agency.
He now incorporates all of his experience to provide a 'First Class'
entertainment organization that is committed to providing you with the kind of
professional entertainment that you would expect for your special event.

THE ALTeration covers a vast variety of music that all of your guest will
enjoy. Covering different styles from Swing/Jazz/R&B to Motown/Disco/Pop
and Rock. The different styles will keep you and your guest entertained for

The band is comprised of 8 members (6 musicians, a male and female vocalist) but
can expand up to a 15 piece big-band and can slim down to a 3 or 4 piece group for
cocktail-hour and/or dinner time. And if you need music for your ceremony, that's no
